STUDENT RETENTION COUNCIL OF ALABAMA
I was the representative for the University of West Alabama, giving the students a voice in the question “how do we keep graduates from our 14 public universities in the state to work?”
We talked about matters such as quality of life, access to career pathways, affordability, and diversity and inclusion.
Though I was a part of only the first of SRC members, we made a great impact by laying the foundation for more students to come. We did this by the following:
Campus Implementation and Presentations
Senate and House of Representatives Presentations
All in all, working with ACHE (Alabama Commission on Higher Education) and the Higher Education Partnership has made me value the time and resources I had access to over the past year.
